There are many ways that you can support our students and teachers both in and outside of the building.
Help out at home by:
- Talking to your child about school
- Helping with and checking your child's homework
- Checking the school's website and social media regularly
- Talking to other families about school programs
- Reviewing the school calendar
- Reminding other families about upcoming events
- Emailing your child's teacher
Help out in the school/community by:
- Assisting with positive behavior incentives
- Chaperoning a field trip
- Taking care of the community garden
- Participating in the monthly parent organization meetings
- Attending monthly school board meetings
- Participating in family events
- Helping monitor bus stops
If you are interested in volunteering in the building, you must obtain and return the following clearances to the office of the applicable school building:
